Obsessions

I seem to have a few obsessions right now. The first being The Americans. Go watch right now on FX. Can't get enough of 80's espionage. It is my fix until Homeland comes back. I just finished The Age of Miracles. It is really, really good. It is about the earth slowing it rotation and how it effects everything told by an 11 year old girl. Fabulous.  I can't get enough of The Simple Things magazine. It may be the best magazine I have ever read. Love everything about it (except that it is not made in the U.S.) Pan Pastels are the way to go for art journals. These expensive little tins are an addiction. Going strong on Project Life this year. Using the Seafoam kit. Love the colors. Having fun with it once again.

I did a scrapbook page! It's been a while. Feeling the urge to scrap...not just project life.

My Word for 2013

My word is Balance. I hope that I look to this word to guide me this year. I am working on balance in all areas. Time, organization, mind, body, spirit, art, family, work. Balance is essential.
